A successful Top Crafts 2007
Story date: 17th May 07
Aldeburgh Town Mayor Celia Leggett combined with John Bly to launch Top Crafts 2007 in the Jubilee Hall. The prestigious craft fair event went on to raise over £6,000 for two local charities – The Friends of Aldeburgh and District Community Hospital and St Elizabeth Hospice. Talented creators from as far afield as Derbyshire and Scotland came to display their craft at the show. Our thanks to all who enjoyed a day out and supported our efforts. Already plans for Top Crafts 2008 are underway.
The event was organised by Albert and Sheila Lain of Finewood Rendham who are now turning their attention to Select Crafts which is to be held at Snape Maltings from July 26th – August 1st raising funds for St Elizabeth Hospice and the 3 Childrens Hospices in Norfolk and Suffolk. As always, entry will be free.
